Art of the State: Pennsylvania, open to Pennsylvania artists and craftspeople, is an annual juried exhibition held at The State Museum of Pennsylvania. With an established tradition of exhibiting highly creative art chosen by a distinguished panel of jurors, Art of the State provides an opportunity for both established and emerging Pennsylvania artists to exhibit their work and recieve statewide recognition.

Co-presented by Jump Street and The State Museum of Pennsylvania, the 51st annual Art of the State: Pennsylvania will award cash prizes for selected entries in the categories of: Painting, Work on Paper, Photography & Digital Arts, Sculpture and Craft.

New for 2018

     Three jurors will now judge all the art works in all categories for inclusion in the exhibition. As usual the fourth - the awards juror - will judge from the final selection of the other three jurors.

     The entry fee is now $30 for up to 3 pieces of art. Additional entries require $10 each, plus the $30 entry fee.

     The category of Photography now includes time-based media.
